Did you find a lower rate somewhere else?

It's super important that you make your booking with the group as the cost of our wedding events is directly related to how many guests book within the group.  Please submit your reservation as normal, and in the special requests / notes field, please let us know where you found a better rate.  We may require a e-mailed screen shot of the offer, and we will send this information to the resort to request a price match for you.  Your card wont be charge anything until we can confirm the lower rate offer and we will send you a complete reservation itinerary to review and approve with your final pricing on it.

Please note that transfer costs and travel insurance costs can not be price matched.  Rate must be a publically available US rate to be considered by the resort for a price match.

Bookings made outside the group may incur additional fees to attend the wedding events.

From horseback riding, to exploring beautiful cenotes and ancient Mayan ruins, we want you to experience everything Mexico has to offer.  It's best to explore off-resort excursions with the most trusted name in travel in Mexico, Lomas Travel.  Not only will Lomas Travel be there to meet you at the airport and take you to your resort if you purchase transfers with us, but there will also be a Lomas travel representative at your hotel during regular business hours in case you need them for anything.

You can plan to make the most of your trip by pre-purchasing any excursions you want to do so that when you arrive for your vacation, you wont have to worry about what tours are already sold out.

When should I make my reservation? Please make your reservation as soon as possible for best room selection.  The cost to confirm your room is $100.00.

Do I need a passport?  You will need a passport (please make sure the name you enter on your reservation matches your passport) Your passport must be valid for 6 months after your trip!

What should I bring? Pack your passport, lots of sunblock, any medications you may need, small bills if you want to tip, phone/device chargers, a tumbler, straws, a pool float is optional but so fun, comfy shoes, and be ready to celebrate!!

Is there a dress code for the wedding?  Beach Formal attire will be perfect for our wedding, think longer dresses, fun prints or unique cuts; long pants, dress shirts, ties optional.  Be comfortable and cool and ready to dance the night away.

Are there any additional fees at the resort?    The Municipality of Solidaridad will be charging an Eco Tax of 20.00 Mexico Pesos (approx. $2.10 USD) per room per night. This amount is not included in your vacation price and will be collected at your hotel. These funds are being used to protect, maintain and conserve the natural beauty of the destination the area and its surroundings.  Quintana Roo implemented a new mandatory tax, VISITAX, to be paid by visitors departing Cancun and Cozumel on April 1, 2021 and onward. The tax is approximately $15.00 USD per person (depending on current exchange rate). Visitors can pay prior to departing for their resort, at the Cancun or Cozumel Airport upon arrival or departure, or at any time prior to their departure back home. If you wish to pay online, you can do so at the secure VISITAX website, http://visitax.gob.mx/sitio/

Can you help me arrange transportation to/from the airport and resort?
Yes, when you make your reservation using the booking form, you will see the option to add on   transportation. We will need your flight information 60 days before travel.

How many days should I arrive before the wedding?
We'd love for you to think of this as your vacation with our wedding in between! Please arrive by the 5th so you may attend wedding events.

May I setup a payment plan?
You will receive a payment link once your reservation is made and you will be able to make payments at anytime.

When do I need to make my reservation and pay in full?
Reservations are due in by November 7, 2027 and final payments are also due in full by November 7, 2027 .

What is the cancellation policy?
Your initial deposit is non-refundable. If you cancel your reservation before the final payment due date, you will only lose your deposit. If you cancel once your reservation is paid in full and the final payment date has passed, refunds will depend on insurance purchased. If you do not purchase insurance, your reservation is non-refundable. You may purchase travel credit insurance or cash back insurance which will cover the cost of your trip.

May I use USD in Mexico?
Absolutely! The resort is all inclusive, meaning that your drinks and food are covered your entire stay! We recommend bringing small bills ($1s & $5s) to tip bartenders and servers a few bucks if you are experiencing good service.

PLEASE NOTE: A child traveling with only one custodial parent or a guardian or who is traveling alone may need to present a written letter of consent.

IMPORTANT TRAVEL INFORMATION

Every person traveling will need a valid passport. If you do not have a passport, you should apply for one ASAP as the process can take months. Find more info here: https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports/apply.html

Your passport should not expire within 6 months AFTER travel! Even though your passport may be valid, the airline can deny you boarding if your passport expires within 6 months AFTER travel. Do not risk it, renew if you are due!

What’s up with all the Casitas rooms?

We have chosen to reserve all the rooms in Enclave 29 to really make this wedding vacation special. Reserving all these rooms will give us both a private pool AND a private swim up bar! If staying in the Casitas isn’t the right fit for you, adults will still be able to come hang out with us at our pool regardless of if you book a room on the Royale side or the Generations side. 

Can I bring my kids/extra guests?

We keep saying, this is a kids free wedding, not a kids free vacation! You are welcome to book a room within our room block at Generations, the family friendly side and bring your kids. We do ask that you either arrange for childcare through the resort for the day of the wedding or bring a friend or family member to hang out with the kids while you celebrate with us (let us know if we need to add a room to our room block for them)! Your kids and babysitter are welcome to join us for any other activities although we will be spending a lot of time on the adult only side of the resort. 

How do I RSVP?

We’ll know you’re coming once you put your deposit down on your room! We do ask that if you know that you won’t be able to join us, you let us know as soon as possible as our list of loved ones is long and our venue can only accommodate a small portion of you!

What’s your rule on phones? 

We want you to take all the pictures to remember this special trip with us, however, we ask that you put the phones down during our ceremony to remain present and allow our incredible photographers to make magic for us. We’ll have a way for you to share all your photos from the trip and reception with us!

Do I need to attend all wedding events?

We’d love to have you at whatever events you’d like to join us for, however, the only mandatory event is the wedding! 

What’s the weather going to be like? 

Google says to expect highs in the upper 80s during the day and lows in the low 70s at night. It can get chilly with the wind off the ocean in the evenings so pack some warmer layers along with your swim suit!

Should we bring a gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift you could give us.  No gifts are expected, but if you'd like, a contribution towards our honeymoon fund would be truly appreciated.
